Our range of consulting in the area of labor law comprises individual and collective labor law, including corporate co-determination and occupational pensions, where we represent our clients both in and out of court as well as in arbitration committee proceedings.
We handle preparation of agreements for companies, management boards, managing directors and management personnel, including legal issues relating to social security associated with employment relationships, and strategic consulting and implementation when it comes to contract terminations.
In the area of collective labor law, negotiating works agreements and collective agreements represent a focal area of our tasks. In the area of collective bargaining law, we advise in particular when it comes to tariff changes and replacing collective agreements as well as designing modern tariff-based remuneration systems.
Where restructuring and operational handovers or modifications are involved, we advise our clients with regard to strategic preparation and implementation. We also conduct negotiations with works councils concerning the settlement of interests and social compensation plans.
Another focal area of our tasks is formed by providing consulting on issues of corporate co-determination, whereby we support our clients in optimizing their corporate structures taking consideration of legislation on works constitution, co-determination and collective agreement aspects.
Special issues such as employee data protection, compliance and legislation on industrial action are also included in our range of consulting services.
Within the framework of M&A transactions, we handle labor-law Due Diligence and provide consulting services on the labor-law aspects of corporate acquisition contracts and transformation agreements.
Our labor-law consulting services during times of crisis also include drafting and implementing restructuring and reorganization strategies, downsizing, company closures and relocations, pay cuts and introducing short-time working arrangements. Furthermore, we provide comprehensive advice on all issues relating to insolvency labor law.
